I analyzed and optimized Gravy For The Brain’s mobile website on an iPhone X running iOS 13.3 and Safari here in Berlin, Germany. Learn to write sales copy that sells, if you’re a voiceover professional or a voiceover service provider.
I still remember the exact moment I signed up for Gravy For The Brain... there was this "complete free guide to voiceover" guide that came in the newsletter a month ago.
At that point, I was desperately trying to put together a demo reel. And I eagerly opened that ebook thinking I'd receive some guidance. But it was so old! From 2015 or something. When I couldn't find the information I needed, it was really, really frustrating... and I went f this.
Joining the community made me take the final leap however. I quit my drama group, which was sucking up way too much time (on top of which the lockdown was announced). I holed myself up in the house and started working 8+ hours a day. Which as a perennial slacker is unheard of for me.
So ultimately, it was frustration with that darned ebook that made the deal!
That’s a wonderful story about not giving up and perseverance with an interesting initiation. I’m glad you’re part of GFTB. Thank you for sharing, Mick :) Soooo, where can I listen to your demo reel?
It's such a helpful community. Dunno what I'd do without the guidance on the mentoring forums. And getting to know awesome people like yourself on top of that is a treat.
I'm working on updating my reel, should be up in the forum soon!
